The State of Wyoming, U.S. EPA Region 8, the Intermountain Region of the National Park Service, Grand Teton National Park, USDA Forest Service, Grand Teton Lodge Company, and Management & Engineering Services invite you to Collaborative Summit 2006 in Jackson Lake Lodge in Grand Teton National Park.

The Summit is pleased to announce that Dr. Patricia Limerick, Chair of the Board for the Center of the American West, will open the Summit with her remarks on Western Heritage & Contemporary Focus.

Marcus Peacock, the Deputy Administrator for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agecny has been invited.

Panels will include the Encana-Jonah Project in Wyoming, representatives from the State of Wyoming, U.S. EPA, BLM, BP America and Encana will participate. The Western Governors Association (WGA) will have representatives on a panel to report on the Clean & Diverse Energy Advisory Committee Report, the information was shared with the western Governors during their June meeting. The Greening of Yellowstone panel will highlight successes and challenges in its efforts to green the greater Yellowstone area . The EPA Regional Administrators from the three western regional offices will participate in the EPA Eco Region panel to describe the Agency's new Great American West Priorities approach to environmental protection.

In response to feedback received from Summit 2004 and Summit 2005 participants, the panel presentations will allow additional time for questions and answers. Representative from industry, concessions, and additional federal and state land management agencies have been invited.

Summit 2006 will provide the opportunity to hear how organizations can improve efficiencies with fewer resources and flatter budgets, enhanc communications while striving to accomplish its missions through collaboration.

Registration for the Summit and the Grand Teton Lodge must be done separately and prior to August 22, 2006.
